Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

2020 has been a challenging year for many. The state of being that we have quickly been forced to adapt to is something that I personally would never have imagined, but here we are.

With all that has happened this year, it can sometimes be challenging to remain positive. Turn on the TV and the negativity fills the airways, COVID-19, economic turmoil, social injustice, alleged election fraud, you name it. However, Christmas is upon us, and for me it is a reminder that there is good in the world, better days ahead and much to be thankful for.

This past year has been challenging but rewarding for me and my family. Here are some positives for me and for all of us:

• After selling the home where we began our family, we have settled into a new home and look forward to making new memories.
• My wife Laura has made advancements professionally, as have I. Nichole, our Office Manager, has integrated herself into the business and become a valuable resource for myself and all of you.
• Despite a volatile year, clients are seeing positive returns, and some have thrived who had the fortitude to invest at the most uncertain of times.
• New Brunswickers have been relatively insulated from COVID-19 compared to the rest of the world.
• The pursuit of a COVID-19 vaccine is nearing an end making us hopeful for a return to normal life.

As we enter the Christmas season, some of us will chose to be upset with our current situation, the lockdowns, the masks, the physical distancing. But some of us will chose to be optimistic and adaptive; make the best of things and be thankful for what we do have. I hope you are all in the latter camp with me!
